Yes, this half-shaved hairstyle is still flourishing. For what reasons, I do not know but nowadays this style has catered to every ethnicity and city across the country. I know alot of people in Boston are fond of this hairstyle, would I ever do it? Of course not. I'm not gutsy like that and I've spent a tremendous amount of time trying to grow my edges and temples out :-)
I am not a fan of this style, but some people have been able to make it look more appealing... preferably when the shaved side is accompanied by a short hair-do. Who would've known Britney Spears could have possibly started a trend...just a little too early.
If you don't like it, then you should put a *razor* on it
